Job Summary:

The Employee shall carry out the following tasks, and all those as assigned from time to time by the Head of Engineering, in accordance with his/her labor contract, internal regulations of the Company, when issued and as amended, supplemented from time to time.


The functions listed below describe the business purpose of this job description. Specific duties or tasks may vary and be documented separately. Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to the business necessity:

  • ◾ Initiate Request for Proposals: prepare scope of work for external consultants
    • ◾ Manage the design process of external consultants, Quality, and Schedule
    • ◾ Technically review tender documents coming from designers/consultants
    • ◾ Manage the follow-up of planning, design for the industrial zones.
    • ◾ Manage the detailed planning and design work, environmental studies, and other engineering tasks to be performed.
    • ◾ Prepare and manage all planning and engineering reports and/or drawings (including geographical survey, geological survey, detailed design, calculation, cost estimation, etc.) for their technical aspects and on their compliance with relevant legislation and regulations and provide reports of comments and observations. 
    • ◾ Be responsible for Bill of Quantity (BOQ) management, make sure that designs reflect correctly in the BOQ.
    • ◾ Communicate and liaise effectively with designers/consultants to ensure that designs are in accordance with the actual situation on site.
    • ◾ Be responsible for buildability of the design of the external consultants including predetermined phasing of the project.
    • ◾ Prepare technical letters, correspondences.
    ◾ Undertake other duties and responsibilities when required and as per direction of the Head of Engineering and any person assigned by the Head of Engineering.

      • ◾ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD / Revit, or related software.
  • Education and Experience: 
  • ◾ Master’s degree in civil engineering or architecture is an advantage.
    • ◾ 5 - 10 years related experience required.
    • ◾ A valid certificate of design.
  • Other Requirements:
  • ◾ International Experience in design and civil engineering is a plus.
