BINH DUONG/QUANG NINH, [19 Jan 2022] – BW Industrial Development Joint Stock Company (“BW”), Vietnam’s leading industrial and new economy real estate developer co-founded by Warburg Pincus and Becamex IDC, recently acquired approximately 74,000 square metres of prime landbank in the Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone in Quang Ninh, developed by DEEP C Industrial Zones (“DEEP C”). This acquisition marks BW’s first footprint in Quang Ninh province and its third collaboration with DEEP C Industrial Zones, expanding its presence across key industrial markets in the northern part of Vietnam.
On 17th January 2022, DEEP C Industrial Zones successfully organized the largest firefighting and rescue drill ever on both land and sea in Haiphong City. As the head of the fire safety group in Dinh Vu Economic Zone, DEEP C was honored to “host” the drill in Euro Jetty in Petrochemical Park of DEEP C Haiphong I.
Under the framework of the Investment Promotion Conference of Japanese Enterprises in Quang Ninh province in 2021, on 16th December, the delegation of Japanese businesses and investors led by Mr. Takeo Nakajima, representative of the Japan External Trade Organization in Hanoi (JETRO Hanoi), visited and surveyed Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone (DEEP C Quang Ninh II).
KCN Vietnam reported successful land handover of two land plots in DEEP C Haiphong II Industrial Zone in Haiphong on October 27th, 2021. The land handover includes two plots of 10.6 ha and 12.6 ha, totaling KCN Vietnam's presence to 23.2 ha of land area within the industrial park.
On November 25, within the framework of the Investment Promotion Conference held in Japan, under the witness of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Hong Duc Industry JSC., part of DEEP C Industrial Zones, Bamboo Capital Group and Sojitz Corporation have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on on the three-party’ cooperation to develop industrial park project and ancillary infrastructure services with expected total investment capital of approximately 250 million USD.
A successful groundbreaking ceremony on 26th October 2021 has marked the kick-off of construction work in BW Industrial’s project in DEEP C Haiphong II Industrial Zone. Present at the ceremony were representatives of BW Industrial, DEEP C Industrial Zones, TEXO and Unicons.
